To Our Wonderful Mothers

I don't know what Tyson and I would do or where we would be without our moms. They are two of the most important people in our lives. This year for Mother's Day we wanted to let each of them know how much they mean to us and how much we love them.

I can't imagine my life without my mom. She is one of my best friends in the whole world and I love her so much. She has always been there for me, during the good times and the bad. From all the volleyball practices, choir concerst, and Fourth of July parades she has always been there to support me. She is always the one I want to call when something really funny happens, if I need advice, or if I just want to talk. My mom is a very selfless person and she loves her family more than anything. She has all of her kids over to her house and feeds us dinner often. She loves to sit and visit with all of us and find out what's going on in our lives. I hope that I can be half as good of a mom as she is one day. I'm so grateful to have been brought to a mother who loves me and who has always showed her love for me. Tyson has told me multiple times how lucky he is to have such an awesome mother-in-law. He gets a kick out of her spunky personality. We are both so grateful for her and her example.

Growing up I often wondered who I was going to marry. When it came time to be dating at the age where I could get engaged I sometimes worried about not only who that was going to be but who their parents would be. I'm so glad I married into Tyson's family! There are those people who can't stand their inlaws and cringe at the thought of being around them. That is the opposite of what I am experiencing. I am so lucky to have Tyson's mom as my mother-in-law. She welcomed me into the family in the beginning, and she has always made me feel so comfortable. I've actually known her a lot longer than I've known Tyson, not knowing I would ever marry one of her sons. But doing so has been one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. Not only did I gain a wonderful husband but also an amazing mother-in-law. She is very selfless and humble, and she takes great care of all of her kids. In the short time that she has been my mother-in-law she has been there for me on multiple occasions. One of which was when I had surgery. She was waiting with my mom in my recovery room and the surgery, and it was so nice to see them both there. I couldn't have asked for a better mother-in-law, and I know Tyson adores his mom and is grateful for her as well. We love you!
To our wonderful moms: We love you more than you'll ever know! Thank you for being the best moms in the world.
Love,
Tyson & Alli
