I Think...

...I felt the baby moving today. I felt something that didn't feel like hunger or gas, it was more like little flutteries. It has been so fun to feel that sensation! (If that's what it is, anyway ha ha)
***
And here we are at 14 weeks!
Today was my first appointment in my second trimester. It feels good to be over the first one! I went to the doctor knowing that I would be getting a routine check-up. I saw the PA Scott today instead of Dr. Leavitt. But I was really happy to have Scott today. He is a good friend from the old Carino's days. He started going through the routine questions and making sure all was well. When he asked me if I had any questions I immediately started to cry. And out of nowhere! Being pregnant has been a very emotional time. And today, all I could think about was hearing the baby's heartbeat. I felt like I needed it. It wasn't in the plan, but after my minor breakdown Scott took me in for an ultrasound. And it was wonderful! The baby was moving around like crazy and looked so amazing. We're going to have quite the active baby. Its little heart rate was at a great level. "Right where we need it to be," is how Scott put it. He printed off a couple of pictures for me and sent me on my way. It was a neat experience that I really needed. I sure do love our baby.

My next appointment will be December 21st where I will have a routine check-up and hopefully find out what we're having. I'm so excited! And I'll be graduated by then so things will be even better.

In this picture you can see a side profile of the baby and his or her arm up by the head. This one is my favorite so far.

This is a full lenghth shot. I love the little hand and foot!

Getting the ultrasound is the best!! In the one that we have hanging on our bathroom mirror (that way I can always see it while I'm getting ready) he (we think it's a boy) looks like he's waving! It's so cute! I'm glad your appointment went well! Aaaaand I love that we're preggo at basically the exact same time! We find out December 18th and THAT is my Christmas Day! :) Love ya!

Wow, you got some great pictures! Aren't ultrasounds the best?! It's so exciting when you start feeling them move. I think I was about 14 or 15 weeks. It felt almost like the tapping of a finger to me. (Weird description, I know.) Very exciting!

Oh Alli, this post made me cry!(Talk about hormonal, geeze!) I love those first feelings of the baby! That's totally how I would describe the first time I felt Preston move, just like little butterfly wings in my stomach! I love that first picture of the baby with his/her arm up, so cute! I'm totally jealous because your baby at least looks like a baby now, I just a have chewed up gummy bear. Lol glad everything is going good!

It is so fun and rewarding to be pregnant. I enjoy it so much...minus the seriously sick part...it's amazing to feel those "flutterflies" and to see the baby inside of you as you feel it move and grow. So much love, so many feelings, it's good that you got to have that moment of reassurance.

Pregnancy definitely makes you cry more so don't feel bad. You are just being normal! I also see Dr. Leavitt and Scott and love them both-you are in good hands. The pics are adorable and there is nothing better than feeling your baby inside of you.

Pregnancy hormones, great fun huh! Seriously I cry for no reason at times. It's the weirdest feeling. I was 14 weeks when I felt her move! So I am sure you probably felt your little baby move! It's nothing like gas or hunger! I am glad they let you hear the heartbeat. I love every time we go to the Dr. we get to hear the heartbeat. I could sit all day and listen! December 21st!! Whoo hoo. That will be an awesome early Christmas present! Can't wait to hear what you are having. Looks like you, Amber and Rach had a great time at dinner! She was excited she got to see you guys!

I am so happy for you! This is so exciting!
I remember my first baby, not knowing if I felt her move or not. And then you hope it was. And get so excited. :) Funny that with the next babies you totally know what it feels like and can tell right away.
I love the ultrasounds the most! It's so fun to see that little baby moving around. Crazy how you can love it just looking at the screen.
Special times these are--congratulations!

I don't doubt you're feeling movement. I was at that time. And I agree with steph, it felt more like a tap of a finger for me. And it just took a couple more weeks for me to see it on the outside, and clearly feel it.
Glad everything is going so well!

Alli, YAY! I'm excited for you. You will love being a mommy. It's the greatest! I hope you are feeling alright. And I bet you felt the baby move if it was a flutter. Enjoy it. Pretty soon he/she will be kicking you in the ribs. :)
