Super Easy Taco Soup

Taco Soup
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of whole kernel corn
  • 1 can of black beans
  • 1 small can of green chiles
  • 1 package of taco seasoning
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef (ish - depending on how much meat you want in it)
  • desired amount of graded cheese of choice for topping
  • corn chips, optional
  • sour cream, optional

Directions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the grease (if there is any).
  • Add 1/3 to half the pack of taco seasoning. Add a little water for moisture if it's not stirring in well.
  • Put all canned ingredients (juices and all) in a large pot and begin to heat. Stir together and add the rest of the taco packet.
  • When the soup is hot, add the ground beef and allow to heat for a little longer.
  • Tyson and I like to put some corn chips in a bowl and pour the soup over the chips. Then we put the cheese and sour cream on top. It's delicious and super easy!
