Another Rediculous Night of Wheel

You know where this post is going! I've been known to post about rediculous contestants on "Wheel of Fortune." And this isn't going to be any different!

Tonight we wanted to just freak out. We were so frustrated! Tyson and I were ready to throw stuff at the TV. Here's the situation:

The puzzle was titled "Proper Names," which meant the answer would be the name of a person/people, city, state, etc. The letters were coming up, and one of the contestants was ready to solve. The puzzle answer was obviously "Regis Philbin & Kelly Ripa." However, not all the letters in "Philbin" or "Kelly" were in view. So the contestant attempts to solve the puzzle by saying:

"Regis PhilBURN & Kelly Ripa"

They didn't give it to him because "PhilBURN" is obviously not correct. So the next contestant attempts to solve with:

"Regis PhilMIN & Kelly REEpa"

Seriously? Both names slaughtered. So the next contestant attempts another shot with:

"Regis PhilMIN & Kelly Ripa"

Got Kelly's name right but not Regis'! So the next contestant opens up the ENTIRE puzzle and says (just had to read it but whatever):

"Regis Philbin & Kelly RYpa"

Nope, wrong again. Are you serious!! FINALLY the first contestant of the bunch solved it correctly by saying:

"Regis Philbin & Kelly Ripa"
___________
Wow. No one knew how to pronounce their names. Have you ever had one of those moments where you were so shocked at what you were witnessing that you couldn't even speak? That's how it was at the Miller house this evening. And we just HAD to share and keep this moment on record! But even though this was a completely rediculous "Wheel of Fortune" moment, we'll still be faithful viewers for sure!
