Tyson's mom's birthday was on June 20, but we celebrated on the 19th with a bowling party!
...
So naturally Erika and I made bowling pin cupcakes.
Julie loves to bowl! Erika had the idea to go bowling and to do these cute bowling pins and a bowling ball for part of the dessert.
Julie also really likes popcorn!
The picture above shows in the book what they're supposed to look like. We were pretty close on getting them just right!
Lillie and Jack were being so good while we worked on the cupcakes! They are great kids.

Here are the cupcakes after they made their debut at the bowling alley. We had other bowlers coming over to admire our work! We were pretty flattered.

GREAT POST!! I might have to steal a couple of pictures off of your blog, now. I'm the worst blogger lately.
It was fun making those cupcakes! You're right, it's Amber's turn now! Thanks again for helping. I couldn't have done the dipping without your support. Anytime you need to borrow the books...
I'm so inspired by your creativity - duck cupcakes for Brycen's blessing day and bowling pin cupcakes for mom-in-law: very cool! I want to try something wonderful for my little guy's #1 b'day - a lion theme - any suggestions for the cupcakes?
(You're just so cool and talented!!)
